mudbuddy outdrive rebuild

mudbuddy outdrive rebuild
anybody know how to go about replacing bearings and such on an older mudbuddy hyper?? have searched with no luck. Thanks

Look on the MB forum, there are detailed posts on it. There are exploded drawings of the outdrive on the MB customer page off its main page.
BoatDr should have all the bearings, races and seals.

Thanks for the reply DB. I looked on the mudbuddy forum and site and all I can find is just basically how to pull the gears off. No detailed info on how to actually remove the shaft from the lower unit. Seems like my lower unit has bad bearings opposite of the prop side of the shaft.

Remove the out drive according to DB8 detailed posts. Remove the prop, real seal and rear threaded race. Remove the gear ( look at some of Db8 pictures), spacer and front race. Remove the retaining clip and oil seal. Pull the stainless drive shaft out. Use a long 3/4 dowel rod to beat the bearings out.

Thanks I finally found it and got it done. Bearings on transom side completely shot.
