Rpms increase on idle after running
Just started doing this. On cold start up, it will idle bout 1130-1150 and bout 900 when clutch is ingaged and will stay there for as long as I run the motor. Ran back from camp at bout 4050 rpms and when i got to the landing, I noticed it was idling a little high. Didn't turn around to check. Son was on front deck with bow rope, when I reached back to bump the momentary switch to ease forward, it almost threw his ass in the boat. I then looked back and noticed the rpms wwere 1450. I rev'd the motor a little bout to 2500 a couple times thinking something was stuck. Nope, 1450. So when I got home, cranked it up, low and behold, 1150. Is this normal. Stock carb.

^yup mine does the same upon warming up. best time to set your idle is when it is compeltely warmed up.
