I just got a 1846 35GTR whats the expected top speed now stock vs. a modified one with the headwork from SETXperformance and the mm exhasut. And is that extra power to much on the engine in the long run? |

My stock 35 GTR on 1846 GT boat runs 29 solo & light, 25-26 with 2-3 guys, dog & hunting load. Heads & exhaust will probably put it 30-31 light & 28-29 with that load. |

Some mods, like head work, can increase durability of motor. I'd say expected stock speeds would be 27-30mph, solo. |

Head work prolongs the motor in my opinion, stock valves are more prone to failing than the stainless stock one piece replacments. Motor will breath better and run cleaner than a stock briggs head |
