How much run-out do you guys have on the very back of your GTR 35 transmission??

Seems that I have about .045 of run-out on my O.D. of my transmission. It is causing the motor to shake a little bit when putting it into reverse.

Anyone ever stick a dial indicator on it for shits and giggles if not can you for me?

That's crazy you ask- I just did it a couple weeks ago and have .040. I think it is the cause I a lot of leaks and failures. There is just not enough shaft to extension contact.

I agree a carrier bearing would be a great improvement.

When you put it in reverse do you notice an abnormal amount of head shaking ?

When I put mine in reverse I get more of a jaw drop than a head shake!! :)
