I have a Marsh Mellow double barrel on my PD an I noticed that the bracket that mounts to the motor that supports the motor has a crack in one of the bends. Is that bracket made of Alum or stainless steel? So i know what kind of welding i need to do to fix it. Or is it better to get another bracket from Marsh Mellow?

I had the same thing happen. Called Dan at MarshMellow and he sent me two new ones, covered by warranty. Great guy to deal with.

The bracket is stainless steel

Good luck with that MM exhaust. I've broken every bend on the mounting bracket as well as piping on the muffler itself. Sent it in to MM, got new mounting brackets and the muffler re-welded and I've already had to weld up one break, and have another break that needs tending to.

I replaced a bracket a while back for a customer. Dan takes care of his customers, period. He might charge a few $ for shipping, but he'll make sure you're taken care of. If you called & left a message but didn't get an returned call, try him again tomorrow. He's been crazy busy lately & probably forgot.

WW, are you running it with the diagonal brace on it?

Try removing the diagonal brace. I've had nothing but good luck without them installed. Like you said, allows it to flex a lil bit instead of cracking.
