Post New gtr (clutch ?)
Got the 25 gtr home and I let it idle on the stand for awhile in neutral. For a bit, the prop was turning really slowly, like you could reach down and stop it with your hand. After awhile, it was turning about half as fast as it would be at idle with the clutch disengaged. Is this normal? Both the pd's I had never turned at all while in neutral. Like I said, it's not on a boat so I can't gauge what it's doing, but I wouldn't want to try to stop it with a hand or a foot. Looks like it would be pushing the boat pretty good when in neutral.

Yep, once the grease gets packed in good & warms up a lil, it should slow down quite a good bit

If your tube is full of grease it doesn't move much , once you put a few hours on it it starts to spin faster

Doubt its anything more than just being new and the grease not being completely there yet.. once its ran for a little bit it free's up a little bit.

The reverse system has to do with why it spins in nuteral. Now the grease in the lower unit will slow it down when fresh and filled good, might get some grease and squirt some in the lower unit to make sure it's fully filled. Sometimes you'll think it's full of grease but it will have air pockets that don't help.
