 rpm
Ok I looked but could not find what I was looking for I done a up grade on a 36 prodrive head cam piston carb ect.
The rpms are 1200 in neutral and 1100 in gear and tops out at 4200 is that good ?
I was thinking getting 4700 rev limiter rpm but It took all I could to get it to hit the factory rev limiter. Is this normal ? The speeds are one guy 30 two 25 THANKS FOR ANY HELP

 Re: rpm
something is wrong with those mods you should be running better than that.

 Re: rpm
How was your trim. That has a lot to do with it. I run 4650 no problem with the mods I have even with a load and new prop.

 Re: rpm
Something isn't set right. I could turn 4600 with a load with heads, cam, carb, and exhaust.

 Re: rpm
You sure your governor is locked out maxed? Something is wrong if you can't get over 4300.
I have an 1851 Excel and ran 4300 with 5 people with a hammer prop this weekend.
