Just installed a fuel/water separator. Ran perfectly before install. Now motor dies when trimed up to get rooster tail. Is my fuel pump not strong enough to pull through filter? I can run half throttle trimmed down and everything is fine. Trim up and open her up, she dies.. |

I bypassed my separator and had zero problems. I have 24' of 5/16" fuel line. What was weird was that it would only die when I trimmed it up. If I ran it sub surface, it didn't die |

Leaking fitting or plug on the F/W separator. Will's was giving us a fit trying to tune his motor, replaced it (because fittings were stripping off) & unhooked his e-pump, now he's got zero problems. Make sure everything is good & tight so it's sealing off. |
