Good speeds. I've gotten well over 30 in mine and now that it's broke in I was running a constant 29-30mph. All shallow speeds by myself. 27mph with 3 ice chest and 3 people. 6 people, constant 23mph. I like my Lil 25gtr.

I just upgraded to the 25 GTR from a go devil long tail and this thing is bad ass. I have it in a c16x42 weld built flat and by myself I'm hitting 28-29 mph and with a fishing load, a friend, ice chest,poles , bucket livewell and tackle boxes) I'm hitting 26 mph. All deep water but this little motor is really awesome. Easy to drive especially coming from a long tail. Does anyone else have one of these? I'm wondering if everyone else who has them aren't having any problems. |

Everyone else that's weighed in on these new motors loves them and is seeing great speeds as well. Congrats, I bet you're really loving it coming from a LT! |

Any idea how comparable a GTR25 would be to a regular 25 outboard on the same hull? I know that's comparing apples to oranges, I'm just curious. ETA: I'm talking a comparison of top speeds, nothing else. |

I guess I should hold off modifying mine. Sounds like a sub. Big block would out perform a moded brigs if its anything like the 25 |
