Might gain 1-2mph on top end. Load carrying is where the can will shine.

If you're running that without a can I wouldn't really worry about adding a cam unless you are struggling to get on plane.

40/47 gears?

If you turning 4700 with those gears running 30mph, your getting a whopping 28% slippage. So either your prop is wore out or your over trimming.

Gear down, check prop/ trim height. And watch load carrying increase, acceleration, and top speed. Put the cam if you ain't happy.
