Re: Thinking of adding cam If you're running that without a can I wouldn't really worry about adding a cam unless you are struggling to get on plane.

If you turning 4700 with those gears running 30mph, your getting a whopping 28% slippage. So either your prop is wore out or your over trimming.
Gear down, check prop/ trim height. And watch load carrying increase, acceleration, and top speed. Put the cam if you ain't happy.

Re: Thinking of adding cam I'm running the hammer prop now ran it with GPS yesterday 3 guys 1-150 2-200 got 33 mph in the sweet spot at 4580 to 4600 had the prop a while does have some slight wear but not much
