Post Need some Engine help, from some motor heads!!!!!
I have a 2011 MB sd 27up motor around 50 hrs. Question I have now is I changed oil around 10 hrs. Now I just changed it yesterday. Crunk it up ran it for 5 min shut it off it ran fine. Today I put my rig in the water Crunk it before I put it in and let it run like I do every time. So I get in push off hit the gas and it dies. Tried cranking it up and all it does is spin over. Every here and there it hit of but then will die. Now playing with it here at the house I just checked the oil dip stick and the oil was tan to white looking. So does that mean I got water in the oil or what might be my problem????? Thanks for any input.

Sounds like it got some water in the oil, but that doesn't explain the not running part of it. Water in the fuel also?

Could be bad fuel, bad fuel line, air leak in fuel line, or a short in the ignition system. Turn it over for a few seconds then pull your plugs and see if there wet. If so then you could have either water in the tank or no spark. If there dry then there is no fuel. Now if the plugs are wet check both coils for a consistent spark. No spark then you have ignition issues. If all checks out, reinstall your plugs, get a small clean gas tank or container with fresh gas. Disconnect the hose from the boats fuel tank and also on the motor closest to the carb as possible. Place the tank hose into the small container of fresh gas and squeeze the primer ball ( Note: its best to have someone help you at this point to catch the fuel by the motor in a bucket, to avoid fuel spills). Fuel should come out by the motor with little effort. If it doesn't then you have a blockage some where in the line. If fuel does flow properly then purge it a few time then reinstall it to the motor, Prime it again and then start it. let it warm up then blip the throttle to check the response. If it still will not start or runs poorly. Check for air leaks.
