Post Gatortail Fuel Pump
Is there any good reason to keep the vacuum operated fuel pump on a gatortail if you are adding an electric ful pump in line? 2 fuel pumps????

No reason to put a electric fuel pump on one!Are you having fuel problems?

Buddy was using an e pump, was burning 2x the amount of fuel. It was the lower psi mr gasket

Was the fuel just coming out the overflow? My buddy has the same set up as me with the E pump and the vacuum pump and get really good milage. But it sounds like there is no advantage to keeping both pumps in line.

E-pump is a waste of $ most of the time. You're better off fixing you leaking fuel line than adding e-pump.

I installed a larger fuel line to solve my problems and a larger fuel filter and to be honest I think it may have been the carb that was causing the problems. due to ethanol... Adding anything else electronic that can break is just a bad idea imho.

The amount of fuel that that mechanical fuel pump delivers at WOT is probably enough to run a 350 Chevy motor...
