Swapped out my 16 vanguard on my gd for a new gx630 honda. Swap was easy, everything lined up, shaft is centered and is giving off less heat than the 16 was. Now the problem. The only place I can find to link the kill switch is the low oil shut off. I'm not an electrician. When I piggyback them together the kill switch works as it should. My question is am I going to do any harm to the electrical system by linking them together?? I would think it would be no different than the low oil sensor shutting the motor. down? I hope to never have to use the kill tether, but don't dare run it with out it. Thanks for any input.
