So when I'm cruising, let's say I'm at 95% throttle, I'm turning around 4200 to 4250 rpms. But when I open up to 100% throttle, my rpms drop to 4100 to 4150. Is it starving? Could the governor be the problem even though at one point it turns up higher? Here is a rough chart to help illustrate what I'm talking about. Stock 27 Kohler. |

Um I never seen a mudboat do down hill! lol Lost velocity, jetting. How close are you to hitting the governor at wot. |

Is this something that just started or has it always been this way? Can you make it repeat this response in neutral, out of water? Initially, sounds like you are hitting a rev limiter?? Mine will drop to 3600 once I hit the 4350 mark. |

Did you ever do a plug check at WOT? May be going lean at WOT. Easy way to check, pull choke lever in small increments if possible when at WOT see if rpm rises. |
