I have a buddy who runs one with ported heads& intake with a 42 milk carb moded exhaust. Very strong boat. He says it runs 32mph. It does try to blo the prop out of the water on the top end though. He is gonna try a different prop to see if it will bite the water better. Is yours modded? |

mine is stock but looking to mod. Want more low end and load carrying capacity. Tired of it not getting on step when loaded down. It runs fast enough for me but any extra speed would be ok. It sits on a GD 16x60. Just want reliable mods that don't require having to work on it all the time. |

With lack a hydraulic trim, when your prop gets worn it wants to blow out of the water at high revs, you can bend your tabs to help this, but then your off once you put a good prop back on. It gets squirrely because when your prop blows out of the water at full speed to loose alot of control of the whole steering thing, which can be important sometimes. But, if your gonna drive a modded go devil remember to hit gym, they can be a handful sometimes. |
