 35 mb rev imiter
hey guys I'm still trying to get my carb tuned correctly. When i had my 23 I could run my motor wot without hitting rev limiter my 35 will not let me do that. will not run wot just hits rev limiter. I also am having trouble getting in to idle down. I have had mixed reviews. Some people said my govenor adjustment screw was screwed in too far some said bend the tab. I don't want to just go messing with stuff. Anybody have any suggestions or the proper way to set govenor screw and tabs?

 Re: 35 mb rev imiter
What RPM's are you at with the 35 GT? Is it on the same hull that you had your 23HP on? What is the size of your hull? What year is your 35HP GT? What is the condition of your prop?
I will try to help you if I know these questions.

 Re: 35 mb rev imiter
Is it the Mikuni carb, if it is just turn the idle adjustment in/out start all the way in and come out like turn and 1/2 and see what it does.

 Re: 35 mb rev imiter
A nine year old stock carb? Throw it in the trash and get a new one, and adjust it from there. That way, at least your not fighting issues with the carb it self.
Lots of guys sell new stock carbs cheap when they upgrade to the Mikuni's. MB sells them as well.
