I own a gtr35 and the oil cooler is leaking on the side of the motor anyone else ever seen this happen?

Yep more than likely if you pull the hoses off at the oil cooler and tighten up the barbed fittings,it will prolly fix your problem. I had this problem also.

Or the cooler itself is cracked. Clean it up and look real good. I had a barb fitting I had to fix and an oil cooler cracked another time

Thanks for the info but I have something else to ask have y'all ever had to replace the trim unit and if so how did work or sound before you had to replace it

I've put trim fluid in it but it still sounds like nails going down a chalk board

Mine is leaking around there too, motor has about 37 hours on it. I removed the fitting closest to the oil filter and used plumbers tape like a few guys on here suggested, but the problem is that the fitting won't tighten up enough, before it hits the block. The fitting is actually too long . Not sure how to fix that!

I found today that it is the oil cooler that is leaking it has a hairline crack in it
