I own a gtr35 and the oil cooler is leaking on the side of the motor anyone else ever seen this happen? |

Yep more than likely if you pull the hoses off at the oil cooler and tighten up the barbed fittings,it will prolly fix your problem. I had this problem also. |

Or the cooler itself is cracked. Clean it up and look real good. I had a barb fitting I had to fix and an oil cooler cracked another time |

Same as cupped up had both places leak. |

Thanks for the info but I have something else to ask have y'all ever had to replace the trim unit and if so how did work or sound before you had to replace it |

I've put trim fluid in it but it still sounds like nails going down a chalk board |

Mine is leaking around there too, motor has about 37 hours on it. I removed the fitting closest to the oil filter and used plumbers tape like a few guys on here suggested, but the problem is that the fitting won't tighten up enough, before it hits the block. The fitting is actually too long . Not sure how to fix that! |

I found today that it is the oil cooler that is leaking it has a hairline crack in it |
