 Mud Buddy Idle Problem
I Purchased a new 35 HD sport In September. The motor has always ran great on the top end but will die if you let off the throttle completely. I have to pat the throttle to idle with the prop engaged and in the water. Trying to fix the problem I adjusted the governor so it idles at 1450 warm and tops out at 4300 OOW. The fuel tank is in the back and the filter has about a 1/4 inch of fuel in it at all times. I do not use a primer bulb but that is the next step. Any ideas?

 Re: Mud Buddy Idle Problem
Thanks I got the valves adjusted. It defiantly sounds better. Is the pilot air mixture adjusted with the two black plastic pieces on either side of the carb?

 Re: Mud Buddy Idle Problem
Yes sir. If you can't get it quite right with the little bit of adjustment that you can get, you can cut the limiting tabs off of the plastic heads and get all the adjustment you want.
