Ok had to buy a new block and pretty much starting over...got new crank and bps rods with cut stock pistons put it together and I'dk if I have something together wrong but this thing is locked up......it isn't even spinning over with a wrench on the flywheel... I've rechecked almost everything excepts pulling the pistons back out but most likely will do that tommorow... anybody put one together and it acted funny like it was really tight

Sounds like you have connecting rods reversed. Can you see the numbers on the rods? I can't remember which one goes where tho...

very simple thing, but you didn't by chance somehow block the vent that comes out of your valve cover did you?

If that got plugged or blocked somehow, it won't turn over....

Valve covers aren't even on... no plugs in.. just won't spin over

Did you use a new case gasket or leave it out? It has to have it unless you do some machining. The gasket is part of the clearance. Just an idea. ???
