Alright guys. I need some help. I've burnt 3 clutches now on my 2012 prodrive. This last clutch didn't last over 10 hours. I've got some serious electrical issues. I don't have any wires melted. I don't understand why this is happening? Possibly a bad ground? Anybody had this problem before.

How're you tightening the crank bolt?

PTO switch could have a prob. Burned a clutch once and it forked the switch and fried 2nd clutch right quick. $35 I think

Put a new switch in when I put the clutch on.

Changed the bushing when I put the new clutch on haha. I have looked over and over at my wiring and everything seems to be in the correct place. Hate I'm going to miss the poker run this year. Our due date for our little boy is the July 27! I'll gladly let you borrow my speakers if you tell me what's wrong with this thing. I've about had it! Time for an Airboat lol

First off sorry for your problems. Second we're in the fuck are these new world leaders in the pd organization. They must be sorting through the gt threads. Call stt up maybe he can hook his computer to it and reprogram it. I say just unbolt the piece of shit and let it go in a deep hole clam it on insurance. Problem solved. :).

 For the record, I've tried to help him over the phone. Says he's rewired the entire thing. Something screwy is definitely going on and I don't know what else to tell him. I'd probably let it catch fire by now myself.

Check your voltage, but the next clutch you put make sure you put the BIG clutch. STT can help you out call PD and ask for him.

Sounds like the problem isn't the clutch. At least not 3 of them. Big clutch isn't gonna solve a none clutch problem.

I believe I had a bad connection with my regulator. It works sometimes and then sometimes it was putting out to much juice. I have the worst luck with these motors. I don't understand why we love them so much?

U should have a 20r 30 amp fuse that will blow b4 the magnets melts. Inline fuse at the button. Mine blew when a wire shorted close to the clutch. I would think it would also blow from too much too much current to the clutch, unless it has been by-passed.
