|
 Vanguard 23 idle problem I changed over to a leveler style throttle handle and I now my motor is running way above it. I can't seem to figure out what adjustment to make to get the idle back down. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Vanguard 23 idle problem Unhook the cable from the handle. If it goes down then the cable is too short.

Re: Vanguard 23 idle problem Sounds like your cable still has tension on it somehow. No reason for the idle to change just from swapping to a lever. While it's running push the linkage on the carb closed to see if it will idle down, if so that's 99% you're problem.
