Post GT1 throttle grip
I don't know if it's me or not, but I broke my second throttle lady night. The plastic shatters. They replaced the first one with no questions asked, but the first outing I broke another one. Have any of you replaced yours with a metal one?

Use google. Type in mmt throttle lever. Or look at the bps throttle lever that mud buddy sells

if you dip coat the handle in plastic coat (several layers) it makes it a little nicer

You will have it down on the first trip. It still happens to me from time to time after 4 years. As far as I'm concerned it won't hurt anything. The engine will just die.

The bps grip is 60$ with the cables or 50$ w/o the cable. And i would recommend not using the cable on the stock the s connector isn't the same size as the one for the gtr.

if you dip coat it be sure to give it a once over with course sandpaper (I think I used 60 grit) and clean it off i used acetone. The only way I got paint to stick to the mounting without cracking really bad was put some enamel in a cup with hardner and dip it in, 2 coats I put older bolts in bolt holes and removed bolts when paint started to setup and cleaned up with razor blade. I also gave the mount a once over with course sandpaper.

now will it stick - I don't know but looks cool and has taken a few likes so far,,,

I also noticed GT runs throttle cable close to engine - thats ok I get it - but you want your cable to have as gentle as turns as possible also, this is what I did, used 1 zip tie on fan cage and a insulated wire hold down on engine

here is what you need 1/4 inch drill to drill out hole on wire hold, small piece of vacuum line (split on screwdiver) to fit on cable and install
