 Oil Leak
oil leak on 5500 sport v. 22 hrs on the motor, best option to prevent future issue or is there any competent person on here that has knowledge of actually running the motors and not reading biased reviews? replacing the crank case gasket and o rings now just not sure if its an often occurring issue

 Re: Oil Leak
Where is it leaking? It's just a Briggs block like any other motor. Change a gasket. 22hrs??? Should still be under warranty.

 Re: Oil Leak
The 5500 V seems to have a vibration issue that causes the crankcase bolts to loosen. It happens on most motors, but seems more of a problem on your setup. Mark the bolts after u have changed the gasket with a paint marker so you can easily look at them and verify none are backing off.
