Installed a set of Boat Dr. heads this past weekend after my stock heads were at 85% leak down after 50 hours. Man what a difference. Motor even idles now lol. Biggest gain was my load capability. Just wanted to give the guys at Boat Dr. a big thumbs up. |

Reworked heads All new parts, decked, heavier springs, etc. As far as the gains, was a huge difference, but when your old heads are basically letting everything by its hard not to notice a huge difference. Got about 3 MPH more when running empty, at 28 MPH with 1750 GTrax. Big difference in holeshot. But the huge difference was when the boat is loaded down. Before with four guys in the boat, decoys, dog, guns, etc, I could not get on plane. Can now. |

Give them a call bud. They answered all my questions and didnt try to push me in any direction. Told me to do a leakdown before ordering heads. If it was high, need heads. |

Yes I agree valves will eventually leak and it's not iron mountains fault I had a set of setx heads leak with only 60hrs on them all it takes is one good mud run and you can over heat them and they will leak no matter who does head work |

I PM'd BoatDr. but no answer yet. i know its the weekend and he has a life other than mudmotors lol Doe she charge about the same as a custom set of heads done, or a little cheaper considering you are giving your heads as core? |

I gotta get in touch with him too, local shop f'd up my oversized seat and valve job, hopefully he can fix em or sell me a set of new ones. Second split opens next weekend, gotta get this stuff fixed asap!! |

Damn I hope you still have one when I come back down, I just wanna see one in person. That's my next purchase for sure if they live up to the hype! I've been waiting two seasons now to check one out |
