I recently purchased a mud buddy 7000 with 35 hours on it. The oil is dirty and to the add mark so I figure I'll give her an oil change. What oil and filter is recommended for it? I will be running it in temps from 20s-90s

Most any oil will work fine, but an oil with high zinc and designed for an air cooled engine is a good route to go. Napa, Wix, Carquest, anything along those lines in a filter.

Here is a good read.

The briggs and stratton oil filters have a high temp check valve in them for the Vanguard engines

Others will know if there are other brands that do so (and what your 7000 would need).

Run 93 whether it has ethanol or not.
