Hello,

Picked up a Mud Buddy HyperDrive with the 23hp Vanguard last night. It is a previously loved unit. I had to go through and redo all the fuel lines and put a new fuel filter (Pre Electric Pump) because it had been sitting for 2.5 of its 3 year life. Bought it off an 80 year old gentleman. Well after we did all of that it ran great but I pulled the new plugs out and one of them is a nice paper bag brown color but the other is white. Is there a way to richen it up on that cylinder? I am new to these motors. Also I am not sure if he has all the lines hooked up right so if someone could look it over that would be great.

First thing id do is clean that carb. If it sat it probably has gunk somewhere. Check for any intake leaks post carburetor as well, may be the lean problem but I would start with cleaning the carb.

Carb was cleaned before operation. The black on it is gasket residue

The cylinder with the longer intake runner will runner will run leaner. If its a stock engine with a stock carb that is clean I wouldn't worry about it man if all your intake gaskets are good.

Not sure if this applies....i have a 26 veryical briggs intek, right cyl runnin lean....cause....intake to head gasket leaking.....sucking in more air than fuel.
Plugs look the same as yours.
While running, spray carb cleaner or starter fluid.around intake.if rpms pickup....you found a leak causing a lean cylinder.
