From the G3's website, that looks like a light hull. It would probably run great if the bottom is not too beat to heck. The Copperhead's are pretty simple so there is not a whole lot to break. Mine has been good. The only things I would have to say are to make sure it is tied down well when you trailer or you will tear it up more than you ever could running the boat. The only thing I have had break is the throttle handle, which is the same plastic type Gatortail uses which probably will crack eventually if you beat it up hitting trees as much as me, but you can use the stainless BPS aftermarket throttle as a replacement (this is a pretty regular mod for Gatortail users as well). It fits without having to do any machining/grinding. The throttle cable itself is not a perfect match but if you grind the center tip off the end of the cable you can use the original cable. The frame is pretty solid and basic and the rest is just a Briggs. I have run one on three different boats and performance differences can be pretty dramatic from boat to boat. One required a few propeller modifications to make run right. The other two ran like scalded dogs.

Yo what up marsh reaper. It's Alex from pines.
My buddy has a copperhead. I'm dying to test out.
He's had some problems with it though.
And from the few years I've been on here so have some others.
Not to say gd, mud buddy, gtr, and prodrives haven't.
They are light and fast though. All about power to weight ratio ya know.
Smoothness, ease of operation, price tag, reliability and other things come into play even aesthetics

Cool deal guys. How did the motor end up running? I talked to copperhead an they came out with a 28hp Subaru! Might look into that.
