Thanks... another question. I noticed the head gasket has a slightly raised area around the perimeter of the cylinder and oil galleys. Should that surface face down against the block or up against the head?

Thanks... haven't tried to put them on yet, I just looked at the gasket and noticed both sides were not the same. Probably would have figured it out pretty quickly during the install.

Everyone will have there own way, I torque them in 2 stages. Working from the center bolts out.
