Thinking about swapping to another oil.. Have only ran Briggs and Stratton sae 30. Heard some people running royal purple, rotella t. But what's the best? Got a stage 2 motor. |

Cooking oil. Extra virgin olive oil too. I even use a mixture of gas and water. Works perfect. |

I run extra virgin olive oil in the EFI, regular virgin in everything else. |

Wichever oil you run i recomend letting it warm up at around 2000 rpm for a minute before you let it idle. Gives the oil a chance to thin out a bit and splash onto all the parts it needs to protect. |

Valvoline vr1 racing oil is on par with the zinc content of the amsoil. But 3n1 is still hard to beat |

Just curious but what criteria are you guys basing your favorite oil off of? Condition of inside of engine after 500 hours? Tests y'all have read about? I like the vr1 also but wasnt gonna say it. I think the best is amsoil / joe gibbs but i hate that i have to order it |
