2005 kohler25hp throttle/choke linkage

 2005 kohler25hp throttle/choke linkage Just bought boat 25hp kohler cv740. I noticed the throttle and choke cables were hard to move started diagnosing and noticed the choke and throttle were fighting against each other. When I go wide open throttle the choke knob starts pushing out and closing the choke causing engine to drown out. I think the linkage mechanism is incorrectly set. I'll post a picture choke cable is on left throttle comes in from the right on bottom.

Re: 2005 kohler25hp throttle/choke linkage Used to have a gdlt with the same motor. That nightmarish looking linkage is what kept me from going to a lever style throttle.
