Looking to buy several stainless intake flanges for a big block vanguard. Does any one have a source for these? I'm looking at making my own evt style intakes. Will also need flanges for carb boot. |

Not sure what you saw there but didn't see anything. |

My bad, I misread. You can get exhaust flanges from those sources. Intake you may have to cut yourself. Take measurements and see if you can find something that may work. You definitely aren't going to find something labeled "big block vanguard intake flanges". |

Yeah, hoping someone had a local source that made them or could make them. There is a machinery place close by that could probably do them, just thought I'd ask here first. |

Heard a rumor that delta was making the complete custom intakes again. If that's true, you may be able to get them to sell you a couple flanges. Just out of curiosity, why do you want to do this? They had a lot of problems with those intakes breaking, and the intake adapters on the market nowadays are more than sufficient. |

Wanting to make a custom set of intakes for my dual mikuni that put the carbs in the same place as the single. I have 10 hrs on mine and knocked them off atleast 3 times. They are in a bad spot sticking out the front. |

Just switch to a single. Seriously though, can't you just use the nubs that you currently have and build something off those? |

Yeah probably could. They are aluminum though and would probably crack long before the stainless tubing. Thought about using them to mach up since nobody wants to buy them. Haha! |

OK, I gotcha. Just takes those bad boys into a machine shop and have them cut you some out of stainless. Shouldn't be too insanely expensive I wouldn't think . |
