I'm looking at a boat that currently has a 2004 Mud buddy long tail with a 29 hp Kawasaki motor. the motor only has 146 hours (according to the readout) however I'm nervous with the age and price/availability of parts for this motor. Does anyone have any recommendations on compatible motors around the same HP that can bolt up to this Mud Buddy long tail kit? The boat itself is a 2015 go Devil 16/44. It seems like a great boat for my needs and the price seems right for the whole package. Any thoughts on this combination?
