Wireless trolling motor
I bought a minn kota powerdrive trolling motor (i-pilot ready)on sale at Cabelas but it has to be mounted so far off the front it's ridiculous. So I went and bought the mka-47 slide mount thinking i could mount it normal then slide it forward, but that mount is designed to slide backwards when not in use rather than forwards when in use. So basically the base plate is hanging out a couple inches off the front, so when you take trolling motor off your stuck with a chunk of aluminum that looks like its gonna catch on everything. My current cable setup is real clean and tidy, prob just gonna stick with what I got. I returned all the stuff.
Anybody know if the motorguide versions are any better?
