Adjusting Valves ?
So went to adjust my valves but kinda stumped. How do I get the piston to move to TDC. Tried putting it into gear and turning the prop by hand but that didnt work.....Went ahead and changed the oil and in the meantime. Later thought should I have turned on the key and put it into gear to get the pistons to move by turning the prop ? ?

Re: Adjusting Valves ?
Assuming you have a motor with an electric clutch, yes the key has to be on for you to be able to turn the motor over by spinning the prop.

Re: Adjusting Valves ?
Do you have to have the key in the on position for your truck to run?? Yes, you have to engage the clutch. And look around the site, lots of info/videos on how to set lash http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+set+valve+lash+mudmotortalk
