Short vs. Tall transom
Having a discussion with a buddy about short and tall transoms. All else equal, would one be faster than another? Do they get geared differently from the factory?

Re: Short vs. Tall transom
Same gearing, or gearing options. If the short transome boat is 50 pounds lighter well then... many many other variables there

Re: Short vs. Tall transom
I'm talking all else equal, is there going to be any difference in speed? I realize there are cosmetic advantages like preventing washover when coming to a stop, only concerned about speed tho.
