I think it depends on what else is done to the motor. Negligible on its own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Q makes 1.5 HP more than the stock exhaust on a stock engine. The BPS Rapid is a 4 HP gain over stock on a stock engine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I Havent had any experience with the new Q muffler, but I tell you what the noise reduction for a hunt motor that have cam/ heads, the Q is hard to beat. IIRC from looking it has larger pipe baffles, larger holes, and a larger outlet than stock. Its the same basic principal but refined more to get more flow. |

I've already got numbers from a stocker and a gutted sticker with a 2.5" outlet, and will be putting a Q on my engine within a month. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

Just for clarity, I have decibel numbers from my sound meter and will post them once I get the Q. Not dyno numbers. My boat does what it does, only ever concerned about the 3, 4, and 5 man hunt load ability to plane and run well. Not paying for a sheet of paper and bragging rights. Yes Marcus, it is very loud. 95 decibels at idle. The stock on my engine doesn't hit that at 4k rpms. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

I'm looking for quiet. Just as long as it doesn't kill performance. |

Seat of the pants feel... At WOT the Q and gutted stock are about the same on top.... Now on the bottom end of the RPM band the gutted stock will rev quicker due to less restriction. There is always a tradeoff. |

How have the ones with the new flex fittings been holding up? I'm gonna need something for my duals that I'm building, and I like quiet. |

Talked to BPS they said 2.5 hp on stock motor and another .5 with K&N filter so the 37 is basically a 40. |

Not like anybody is going to notice big differences with 2.5 HP gain on these things. But, I feel I had improvements from stock to the Q....lemme rephrase...I know I had improvements. Sent from the ISS using Tapatalk. |
