Mikuni help needed
Here lately I've been having gas steadily flow out the overflow on my mikuni while the motor is running. I was told that more than likely the tab on the float needs to be bent some? I'm a complete rookie at knowing which way and how much to bend it. I have no problem taking it apart and doing what needs to be down but need to know where to start. Any input on what to do or other possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Mikuni help needed
Here is a link to the manual. It should be page 8 that explains how to set the float height.

Re: Mikuni help needed
Make sure you have the correct needle valve for mudmotor application. The Mikuni "standard" size needle valve is too big and will overflow the bowl - ask me how I know

The float needle is worn. He's getting a new one. 4 years old.

Re: Mikuni help needed
Is the 2.3 needle and seat the correct version for a mud motor?
I am getting constant overflow now too but the closest shop to work on it is 2 hours away so I usually end up ordering parts and working on stuff myself.
