Well I got the Kawasaki 29 off my frame and ready to order the vanguard 35. My question is I need a new pulley or sprocket or whatever you call it and a belt. But when I look on Mudbuddy's website all I can find is the electric clutches. It's a 2004 hyperdrive. Thanks for any input.

What can I do to figure out if mine is short or tall transom?

count the screws in the top section of the belt housing. 3 on each side is short. 4 is tall.

I actually was just looking at the belt and found an old faded part number so I've got the belt figured out. Now just trying to find the sprocket. It broke when we were taking it off so I'm not sure if I ha e all of it or not but I counted the teeth on what I have and it's 34. Are they normally a 1:1 ratio where I could just count the shaft pulleys teeth and get the same pulley?

No I got the kawi off and I ended up switching jobs and was gonna use the money I have saved up for the motor to live off till I got a few checks from this new job but now the girlfriend has decided to move our wedding up to march so it might be a little while before I get the vanguard

Just an update, I’ve had my 23 vanguard on the old kawi frame since March and everything has been great. The only problem I’ve had was the handle broke but that’s to be expected with an old frame. But as far as the swap it’s still going great.
