Post subject:  Need help with wiring.

I bought an older Go Devil that needed some work. I got it fixed up and working except for the On/Off switch. It appears that the switch was broken and he had it wired directly somehow. It has a spot for a jet ski kill switch lanyard but the wire from it is disconnected and the on/off switch has been removed. Right now I can crank it first pull but I have to turn the gas off to kill it. What I would like to do is wire it where it is "Always On" but with the kill switch working. I took some pics of the wiring and will post them here. Any help would be much appreciated.

The wire coming from the left in the first pic is from the kill switch. I assume it goes to the tab there on the little thing with the letter OS on it. When I put it there it does nothing when I pull the lanyard.

Looks like the black wire with the protective black sleeve - thats heading back under cover, is the kill wire to the coil. When grounded it should kill engine. The yellow wiring is to the low oil switch. Try grounding the black kill wire to verify it is a kill wire. Then hook the black wires back together so the low oil pressure switch works. Then "T" into the black kill wire with your kill switch wiring. Let us know...
