Spark plug boots.
Can someone please tell me if I’m overthinking how to use the boots. I used the search feature and found other people have bought the ngk boots # LB05EP-8020 but am I supposed to cut the terminal off the end of the wire and screw the new plug boot onto the wire. Just nervous about cutting the coil wire since you are not able to change just the wire. Whoever has used the style boots please let me know what you did. You can see the screw I’m talking about in the pic.

Re: Spark plug boots.
When I replaced mine , I used a pair of needle nose and carefully removed the inside metal cap than pulled the old rubber boot off. Never cut anything. the old boot will slide back to access the old cap.
