I cant seem to find much info on the Boss 75hp and I was wondering if anyone has done any kind of test running a gatortail 37hp on a 18ft or 19ft boat and then ran a boss 75 on the same boat to see what the differences in speed and power where. Obviously I would expect the boss to haul a bigger load with out losing much in speed compared to the GT but how significant is the difference?

if I had to guess I would say about a 40 hp difference !!!

And the fact that 1 is a car engine and the other is a fuckin lawnmower engine. 1 don't see and issue.

I am just wondering but with a 40 hp increase, shouldn't it be able to turn a 12x14, 12x15, 13 x14, or something with more push? My GTR 35 with heads ,carb, and exhaust will turn a 2 blade 12.5x12 at 4400 rpms and a 3bade 12x 10.5 at 4100 both get 30mph with 2 adults.

So if a Hoss 75 is worth the pennies wheres the prop to compliment its massive ability????
