 Kohler electric fuel pump question

Post Kohler electric fuel pump question
I have a older Mudd Buddy with a Kohler 27hp motor. The electric fuel pump has quit and I want to replace it. Since my fuel tank is below my motor, will any low pressure one work? I bought the boat used and am not sure if the pump is factory or not. I can't find any numbers on it.
