Re: Subaru 28efi mods
It would probably be cheaper to sell it and by a big block.

That’s about right for that motor. No mods for it to my knowledge, Not even a exhaust out that I know of.

The boat runs like a scalded dog, I’ve put it through hell and back and just comes back begging for more. I just like to at least get a few more MPH on the top end

Re: Subaru 28efi mods
Not any mods available for the Subaru. There was one person that made some exhausts for them but hasn’t ina good while. Only option for more is a block swap. You can put a 35 block on your frame. Or if your trying to stay light weight you can try and fit the Kohler 25 efi to it, and mods are available for it

Copperhead mud motors was doing some testing on the Mac muffler but haven’t heard results. I’m running the same motor on a copperhead frame.

Re: Subaru 28efi mods
MAC exhaust makes mod products for Subaru 28efi. $475 for exhaust kit. Friend told me to find a K&N air filter similar to the Subaru Robin version would help as well. When I find the comparable version, will PM to you the part number. I have a 25GTR Subaru and love it, and was debating on selling due to discontinuation of Subaru's decision to sell them in USA. Gonna keep it, mod it out with exhaust & air filter, and run it til parts are no longer available.

Re: Subaru 28efi mods
Jay Dore @ Instagator boats was building exhaust for them also, not sure if he still does.
