Post Pro-Drive 36 Roll cage
Does anyone know of a cage that bolts onto the motor to protect against impacts? When water levels are high and Im running around trees I have broken a few vital parts off my engine. No fun. If anyone knows of a remedy/protector for the motor besides the obvious of avoiding impacts please let me know

Rubbermaid with some vents cut in it to allow proper airflow for cooling. Beyond that, probably gonna have to find a local welder to fab something up for you, or get creative with some sheet metal and angle iron. Maybe some expanded metal instead.

Have you noticed the engine guards on the very new Prodrive's? Worth a look

I had the same issue with my old boat. My new boat has a poling platform and it does a great job protecting the motor .

The new pro drives come with a cover.
It would be easy to bend a plate to fit.
It would be bolted where your tilt handle is at

I thought about this sometime back. I hit a tree and almost ripped off my oil dipstick. Apparently you can't replace those. It would be nice to have something.

The oil dipstick and dipstick tube are replaceable. The tube is just friction fit.
