Prodrive 36 hp bogging down no power
Looking at a 2012 prodrive had trim, reverse tall transom motor this weekend. Guy says the engine was going down the river bogged down and back fired. He cleaned carb, replaced air filter, fuel filter, and a coil. Ran great then it started doing the same thing after 10 hrs or so. Any advice? Could it be a stuck float, the other coil went bad, or is there another issue? For the price I can afford to put some money into it. Thanks in advance.

Re: Prodrive 36 hp bogging down no power
Well I picked up the motor. Cleaned the carb, adjusted the valve lash, and it is running very nice. I can not find any details on how to determine if the prop is worn too much to use. Is there a diameter, blades worn too narrow? I know if big chunks are knocked out or the out of balance. I have a heavy .125" hull 1655 (not mud boat) jon boat. 15mph with two adults and 40 quart cooler. Just wondering if I can pick up as little bit of speed.
