Quick question, but are the pins pressed or floating in the rod end?

Been awhile since I tore one down and cannot recall.

It's a pretty snug fit, but doesn't need a press.

in all honest it is too FUCKING tight lol. Most all motors I take apart the bottom of the piston is discolored at the piston pin from lack of clearance... It is splash lubed..

yep. inconsistency. They should free float in both the piston and the rod.. I usually see more of the piston being too light and it rotates on the rod only. A lot of times I see it on motors than some joe bubba has take apart and has beaten the piston pin with a punch "mushrooming" the ends causing issues too... so. There isn't enough clearance IMO to start with stock though.
