Post subject:  My GoDevil Sd35 won’t start when it’s hot
Hi Guys,

Question for you . I have a little issue with my SD 35 , my motor don’t want to start ( no sound , nothing happen) when it’s hot ( after 20-30min ride)

I let them cool down , 10min , and it start again .

When the motor is cold , it start like a new one .

Any idea

Does it die after 20-30 mins, or just wont crank after you kill it?

No doesn’t die after 20-30 min , just won’t crank after I kill it

Unplug the green wire on the oil filter side of the engine at the oil sensor when it's not cranking. It might be causing issues. It's an easy check, and eliminates that as a potential problem and should be something you can do on the trailer. Start there.

I've had this happen once before. My customer insisted in change the starter, but It was the yellow wire to activate the solenoid that had previously gotten pinched after10 years of service. I replaced that wire from the deutsch plug to the solenoid and the engine starts perfectly every time. that motor is a 2008.

you definitely have something where the resistance get higher and causes a break in the circuit when things heat up.


Cb you are correct. The console models are really prone to this issue.
