 vangard 35 missing I have a 35 vangaurd with delta level 3. Last Friday night setting bank poles everything was fine. Saturday morning cheching them motor did not want to idle and run fine down the water. Sunday changed plugs, all fuel line, took carb off and cleaned, and this morning retuned carb on trailer not in the water. Put in water today and when up to operating temp it did not want to idle or at low rpm with load missed and then wot you could here a miss here and there. Any suggestions or help with this issue would be greatly appriciated. Oh and valves were adjusted in the last ten hours.

Re: vangard 35 missing I think he is a carb motor if it says 35. Possible intake gasket leak. Check the valve adjustments just so you're not overlooking something easy. Weird batch of fuel. Somewhere to start anyway

Re: vangard 35 missing When mine did that it was a loose intake. I went ahead and replaced the gasket, torqued everything back down, and all was good.

Re: vangard 35 missing Think I found the problem. Pulled front cover and plug wire is wore and can start to see the wire. But have been all over the internet and cant find my part numbers. Where do you guys get parts from on the internet

Re: vangard 35 missing Use partstree for part numbers, then shop where youd like. They take a while to ship sometimes, and on some parts can be a good bit more expensive.

Re: vangard 35 missing You have to buy a whole coil. The wire isn't serviceable.

Re: vangard 35 missing Will I did have a nice 86 but sold to pay off shop,it wasn't to fast mid to low 12s at 108 depending on weather.
