 Prodrive after mods Finally got out on the water yesterday after doing a stage 1 upgrade on my Prodrive.
-Boat Dr heads
-Mikuni carb
-BPS Q exhaust
Seemed to have a lot better throttle response. With 2 husky guys (both about 265), 12g of fuel and a few other odds and ends, we were pushing 23.5 - 24 mph running around 4300 rpm.
I was pleased. Seemed like the boat hopped up on plane much better and much quicker than it did before.
Boat is an 1856 Phowler Extreme MV. All .125
Thoughts? Does this sound about normal for guys running a similar setup? I’m anxious to see how it does with a heavy load which is where it really seemed to have issues before.
