I recently bought a 05 mud buddy HD sport on 1854 f4. Knowing all the issues, I got a good deal. Motor has 200 hours. I’ve overlooked, repaired and inspected almost everything on motor and drive components but am only getting 3550 rpms according to the tiny tach. 38/50, belts at 16 lbs and valve lash at .005. I’m 99% sure the floor is waterlogged. 2-250 lb guys and permanent blind it goes 17 mph. What are some things to look at to get my rpms up, other than different gearing.
